  • Traditional Foods
My health has dramatically improved after changing my diet for a more traditional way of eating, as advised by Sally Fallon.
  • Food Flower Poster
Forget the food pyramid! It was developed by the agricultural industry, not by nutritionists. Instead, print this Food Flower poster, which shows a visual guide to choosing nutritious and satisfying traditional foods.

  • Raw Food
Should we be eating a diet of 100% raw food? Here's what I found by way of "scientific proof".
  • Raw garlic to cure colds & flu
If you feel a cold or flu coming on, eat a whole clove of raw garlic, three times a day - it works miracles.

Pretty journal:)

yeah, your photo transfer worked really well and i LOVE your idea of using an old book as a journal. the text in the background is really arty! did you know you can also do photo transfers using eucalyptus oil? just turn the photocopy over on to your paper then soak the back with a cotton ball soaked with eucalyptus oil and rub the image off with the smooth back of a spoon. i just love the smell of eucalyptus oil, but your way seems to work just as well. X

Fixie: Ooh I will definitely try the eucalyptus oil method. I did this recently with turps, and it worked well, but my journal stank afterwards and I couldn't stand it. But like you, I love eucalyptus oil. My method is good but only for little things that fit behind sticky tape, and also the end result has the shiny plastic tape finish - I'd much rather just get it directly onto the paper for most things.. Will give it a go. Thanks!

I just cam across your website searching for info. on garlic since I am sick with a cold an wondered if I should give it try. I just LOVE what you!!! and what a beautiful journal this keep up the good work!

Methylated spirits works as well. I love how you are using old books for journaling. I will give this a try.

I tried the methylated spirits method and it looked fantastic! But unfortunately, even three years later, my journal stinks to high heaven. That really put me off. Know any secrets to get rid of the stink?
