I've just signed up for this new course offered by my favourite art teacher, Suzi Blu. In the course we make a daily/weekly/monthly planner in which we use art to express our goals, break them down into small steps, and then try to actually LIVE them. I am the queen of to do lists and I always set myself goals for each "block" (period that I am at home between tours), rather than each month, and I often express them in my art journal. But I'm really inspired by Suzi's organised way of going about it, and the fantastic images that she shows us how to create in the process. The backbone of the course is a monthly goal-planning session, and then a quick daily check in with our journal each night. I have in the past had a gorgeous routine of journaling just before sleep, but let that slide recently. With this course I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
