I made this using real fur from my angora rabbit. Yes, I really spun it on the miniature spindle, knitted it with a pair of tiny skewers for knitting needles, and glued actual fur onto the rabbit. It's a bit hard to see all the texture and detail from this photo, but it's very 3D...
It's actually so fat I had to take it out of my journal. I think I'll glue it to a piece of wood and hang it on the wall.
She clearly loves her bunny very much! I love this, so original- certainly deserves to be seen on the wall, - most appropriate!
You're on a productive roll, Fixie.
How is the bunny?...have you any chickens left?...what are Jessie and Paula up to?

Thanks Hazelnut! Still looking for the right bit of wood to glue her to. And yes, I'm rolling hard with the art at the moment! It's my art course. We've got a few chickens in the freezer still and new baby chicks have just arrived for our next batch! Jesse is dancing all the time - hip hop, ballet etc, and loves it. Paula's been learning woodwork and has made me some new shelves that will become a greenhouse.. all to be posted when I get the chance!
Cheers!

Aw the newbie chicks look just like pom poms! I think it is breave and honest that they will feed you and you see the whole cycle through.
Not many who eat chicken from a packet are willing to do so - or even understand the terms on which they eat it.
Love that Jessie is dancing!
I wish Paula could make me shelves too, and an out door bathroom, and a sign that says, indeed commmands: 'WASH'!
Smiles,
Hazelnut
