I've finally filled my old journal, and with much sadness, closed the back cover. But I made a new one and I'm loving it.
I used my last two paintings as inspiration for the cover. "I need a revolution" (which I do! I've GOT to fix my anxiety!), and anxiety girl with all her big numbers and Paris map.
I've filled it with plain pages, patterned pages, flaps, and interesting labels from Mary Ann Moss.
Your journals are beautiful! Anxiety girl has struck a chord with me today. Co-incidently I have been struck with anxiety these last few weeks. Those pages look so tactile. I can almost hear the paper crackle as I image the pages being turned.

Love this new journal of yours Asphyxia, I look forward to seeing little sneak peeks from it now and then, when you feel like sharing with us all. I like to have uneven edges on my journal pages, sometimes I tear them, sometimes I cut, or burn them, or make peek holes in the pages themselves which give a hint of what is there when the next page is turned, for me it keeps them interesting.
